Images fall into two categories: raster and vector. Raster images are made up of pixels. Vector graphics are defined by a set of mathematical vectors (eg lines and curves).

- Created in software (illustrator)
- Format: SVG
- Scalable Vector Graphics
- Look sharp at any size
